Project Engineer Role

• Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
• Lead and coordinate technical aspects of EV-related projects, ensuring designs and implementations meet specifications.
• Conduct research and analysis to support engineering decisions related to electrical systems, power electronics, motor control, and battery management systems for EVs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, researchers, students, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical challenges as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in testing, validation, and optimization of EV components and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering is essential. A Master's degree will be an added advantage. Proven experience in project engineering or a related technical role, preferably within the automotive, electric vehicle, or renewable energy sectors.

Demonstrated Capabilities

• Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, control systems, and embedded systems, particularly as applied to electric vehicles.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, and problem-solving.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software, project management tools).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and present complex information clearly.
