Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation, particularly in commercial EV charging environments.

This role involves surveying, installing, and maintaining EV charging facilities across various commercial settings, including small, medium, and large locations. The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively throughout England, Scotland, and Wales, with regular overnight stays and multiple-day work assignments.

Key responsibilities include planning and organizing installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone who is environmentally conscious, has a passion for the EV industry, and is eager to develop their career in this rapidly growing field.

Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician with experience in commercial EV charging environments
• Up-to-date knowledge of current standards, including BS7671 - 18th Edition
• C&G 2919 qualification in Electric Vehicle Installations
• C&G 2391 Test and Inspection qualification
• Member of a recognized Electrical Engineering Professional Body, such as CSCS SIB/ECS
• Sound Health & Safety knowledge and experience within electrical installation projects
